The Loot is the first element of the lost Utu civilization that reaches the Bar and becomes available to players. Each Loot is in the form of an energy float in an NFT card, which may include a maximum of 8 items, but most often, there will be only a few. The Loot is part of dramatic bundles in scenarios and contains several "lines" related to different parts of the character's body, like in RPG games' equipment (example).
Despite the genre, each loot has its dramatic value according to the role it has played and the impact it makes in the canon. Players can use it to re-create characters by recognizing who they belong to. Loot is a kind of "cement" that will bind together the "bricks" that will build up the 500 seasons universe. Firstly, it affects the appearance of the players' characters and indicates who they belong to.
The Lore is the second wave of rare and more valuable cards, representing descriptions of the drama tropes. The Lore is a peculiar piece of scenarios of different genres which can be combined. If the Loot is props, Lore is the script that governs the actions and relationships of NPCs. The Lore includes cards with story elements: locations, scenes, characters, and plots. The Lore is the "biggest" and, therefore, the "slowest" item arriving in the game, appearing after players claim the entire Loot. The Lore is the story foundation of the metaverse, the script pieces from which the surrounding reality is generated: locations, props, and characters.
The story that the player learns at this point:
From the Seasoned Murzik, the player can learn that once, in a parallel universe, there was a supreme race of Utu, which valued stories more than anything else.
Due to their unique power, they could change reality through the stories. Then some cataclysm occurred. Now, everything that remains of the great civilization is the Lore and the Loot, which the Murziks recognize as valuable because these resources can affect the universe.
The Murziks dream of learning all of Utu's secrets and one day becoming as great and powerful as they were. The Murziks are a small race of space nomads. Murzik's ancestors have escaped their home planet, which was destroyed by a solar flare. Since then, they have wandered through the galaxies for easy profits. Life has made the Murziks survivors - clever, cunning, and creative. Most importantly, they raised a unique entrepreneurial intuition and a sensitive organ, which allowed them to be the first to recognize the Loot flying from the depths of space. They didn't know the origin story but immediately recognized this stuff's commercial potential.
The Murziks learned how to catch the Loot and immediately brought it to the Market. Today, everyone in the space wants Loot, and the Murziks have something to offer them. You can usually find these guys at the Bar, where they trade and organize golem fights in which you can win Loot or increase its value.
